Our Maintenance Team is a fundamental part of the wider Property Service within the Orbis partnership, which encompasses Surrey County Council, East Sussex County Council and Brighton & Hove City Council. The purpose of this partnership is to deliver greater value for our councils, residents and customers by increasing efficiencies using the benefits of sharing our people, resources and technology.
We are recruiting now for a Maintenance Manager (South) based in Lewes, East Sussex.
As the Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for the effective delivery of the response repairs, condition survey programmes and planned maintenance programmes of work for internal and external clients and sovereign authorities with a key focus on East Sussex County Council. You will develop and implement technical and performance standards for buildings, ensuring that services and projects provided via the organisations agents, consultants and contractors comply with the relevant corporate governance responsibilities, technical specifications and standards. You will be a technical expert, professional accredited and with at least 5 years experience within a Property Services environment.
Property has responsibility for developing, building, running, and maintaining an extensive and diverse portfolio of investment, operational and non-operational property including office buildings, fire stations, land and schools, you will be making sure our assets are working hard for us and providing fit-for-purpose premises for staff and customers.
