We are looking for a Business Support Officer to cover maternity leave on a one year fixed term basis to work within a team of staff that supports Regulatory Services. The role will provide administrative support to the taxi and premises licensing service. You’ll contact customers when required and to respond to all customer contacts received across a variety of channels in a consistent, positive and efficient manner, and resolve as many at first point of contact.
You will be supported in gaining confidence and experience in customer and client liaison, the use of a variety of computer packages and systems while receiving on the job training.
Applicants should be flexible and organised with the ability to work accurately whilst working to deadlines. You should be committed to work hard and to learn, with good IT skills and able to communicate clearly both by phone and in writing.
