The Site Coordinator/Caretakers main purpose is to ensure the Health & Safety of the building occupiers and users and monitor the site activity such as the standards of cleaning, safe working of contractors on site and any other duties to ensure the smooth running of the building. They will liaise with building users and occupiers, the on site team and report to the relevant Area facilities Officer depending on the Corporate building they are based at.
They will assist with the day to day delivery of the facilities management of the site, room set up and perform site checks in accordance with Health and Safety legislation and manage and report on any incident on site. They may escort and monitor contractors working at site in accordance with their Work Permits. They will report building faults. They will report on the standards of cleaning and performance of contractors who conduct work on site. There are a number of daily, weekly and monthly checks that they will need to complete. There is a requirement to have an SIA licence as there will be an element of security guarding involved.
