We currently have a full time post across 2 settings at our Louth and Skegness sites with small class sizes of no more than 14.
If you are you interested in inspiring and motivating young people to achieve their potential and you are able to deliver engaging, relevant and responsive English and Maths sessions to young people we would love to hear from you.
We are looking for an outstanding qualified Functional Skills/GCSE tutor who is experienced and motivated to create and deliver appropriate, relevant and engaging learning for learners enrolled on Study Programmes, Supported Internships and Traineeships.
At YPLP we offer you the opportunity to get to know your learners and give them the individual support they need to make progress. We give tutors the flexibility to be responsive in their delivery and support them to think outside of the box.
You will need to demonstrate resilience, determination and creativity in your approach for which you will be rewarded by the amazing growth and achievement of your learners. You will be inspirational in preparing some of Lincolnshire's most vulnerable young people for the next stage in their personal development, motivating and giving them the confidence to push themselves to the next level.
Those candidates who have experience of working with challenging learners would be at an advantage as would those who have a working knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice.
This is a position where you will work across the annual calendar allowing you to take annual leave without the restrictions experienced in a term time only post. You will spend your time across the 2 sites equally - Monday & Friday at Skegness and Tuesday and Thursday at Louth with Wednesday home or office based.
