Principal Enforcement Officer
28 hours per week; Fixed term for 12 months
32,637 - £35,025 per annum pro rata
Opportunity for the role as a Principal Enforcement and Inspection officer has a risen to join our team within Public Space, based at Civic Centre Morden Surrey. The role is to help deliver the Council’s objective of a Safer, Clean and Green Merton. We are looking for a self-motivated professional who is enthusiastic about helping us in achieving this aim by working with other Council departments and partners in the Environment Agency and the Police.
If you have experience in dealing with the public ideally face to face as well as over the phone, are a team player, have knowledge of enforcement of regulations covering, the Environment Protection Act 1990, The Clean Neighbourhood and Environment Act 2005 and the Highways Act 1980, Refuse Disposal and Amenity Act 1978, then apply.

A current UK driving licence is essential and to use your own vehicle to which an essential users allowance will be paid.
