The services delivered by the Communities, Economy and Transport department (CET) have an enormous impact on the lives of local people and the natural environment.
From operating waste facilities and registration offices, to maintaining roads and major infrastructure planning, the moment an East Sussex resident steps outside their front door, they are interacting with our work.
If you have a passion for customer service and are able to work with tact and sensitivity, we have an exciting opportunity to join our award-winning parking team. Parking experience is not essential as full training will be provided.

As a Parking Review Officer your responsibilities will include responding to requests and reviewing different parking schemes within the County. This will include compiling and considering the evidence for parking controls which should be well designed to balance the differing needs of the local community and visitors to East Sussex, whilst maintaining road safety.
We are looking for candidates who:
- are skilled in managing their time to meet deadlines and prioritise effectively.
- have basic knowledge of using Word and Outlook, and excellent written and oral communication skills including being able to communicate effectively in plain English.
- are self-motivated.
- have a commitment to training and personal development.
- are flexible and enjoy working as part of a team.

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.
