Starting salary £20,472 pa rising in annual increments to £20,952 pa incl LW.
Fixed term contract for 18 Months
The apprenticeships programme at Lambeth has had, and continues to have, a very positive impact on the workforce and has boosted the council’s potential by bringing in new talent. We are looking for apprentices with enthusiasm, energy and a fresh ideas to support Lambeth’s objectives.
The successful candidate will be provided with on the job training to develop as a highly effective apprentice providing comprehensive support to services around the council.
We are looking for individuals who have a minimum of GCSE Maths and English A*- C or equivalent to Level 2 in functional skills in Maths and English. You will need to be approachable, have good communication skills, enjoy working in a team and be willing to learn!
We are looking for an Adult Care Worker Apprentice (Level 3 lead adult care worker, 18 months) to join Day Services.
Adult Social Care’s Day Services promote healthy lifestyles, lifelong learning and provide support to its vulnerable adult users and their carers. They run services for older people, adults with severe learning disabilities and adults with complex needs to deliver high quality care for service users.
You will be based at Lambeth Walk, a day centre for people with learning disabilities and your role will involve working with service users to promote their dignity and choice. To succeed in this role you’ll need to be committed to helping others as your work will make a real impact on their lives.
