We are looking to recruit a senior admin support officer on a 12 month fixed term contract to act as first point of contact for Requests for Information, Freedom of Information requests and MP enquiries for Children’s Services.
You will be required to undertake checks as required, ensuring accurate information is obtained, recorded and passed to the requesting department or external agency within set timescales ensuring data protection guidelines are adhered to and ensuring comprehensive and accurate records are maintained by updating fwki accordingly.
You will deal efficiently, politely & courteously with telephone queries and other requests for information in order to ensure that service performance levels are met, working closely at times with the social work teams.
You will be required to support the work of other administrative support staff during periods of absence or high volumes of work to maintain the efficient provision of administrative services across Children's Social Care.
A knowledge of Children’s Social Care is desirable but not essential
