The Leaving Care Team provide vital support and advice to our Care Leavers during their transition from living in care to adult life. We have a vacancy for a Senior Social Worker to join the team and play a role in supervising, supporting and developing the practice of its Personal Advisers and the team’s ongoing work as well as initiating new projects and holding a small caseload.
You must hold a Professional Social Work Qualification and be registered as a social worker with the HCPC. You will need to have experience of working directly with young people from diverse backgrounds and be able to build strong, meaningful relationships with them. You will also need to have 3 years post-qualifying experience.

• a market supplement of £2,736 for social work posts and £3,060 for senior social work posts in these teams, and;
