SCANNING / ADMINISTRATION ASSISTANT

 

Scale 1/3 (from £16,394 per annum)

The Council is looking to recruit a highly motivated individual to join the Revenues and Benefit service.

 

The successful candidate will ensure the daily incoming post is sorted appropriately then scanned and indexed to the Council’s document image system; it is therefore necessary that you should have excellent computer skills to ensure the documents are accurately recorded on the system.

 

The Council is looking for an individual who has the ability to execute tasks using their own initiative, and can demonstrate a positive attitude and excellent organisational skills. A good knowledge of Data Protection legislation is required due to the sensitive nature of the documents held. You must have 3 GCSE’s or equivalent including English grade A-C.

 

The post is offered on a full time of 37 hours per week.

 

The successful candidate will be automatically enrolled in the Local Government Pension Scheme and will be required to obtain a Basic Disclosure.
