REVENUES OFFICER (COUNCIL TAX)
Scale 1/3 (from £16,394 per annum)
The Council is looking to recruit an experienced and highly motivated Revenues professional to join our Revenues team and help to provide an efficient and effective Revenues service for our customers.
The successful candidate should have previous experience of administering and processing all types of Council Tax billing functions in accordance with the Regulations and the Council’s procedures and policies. You should be an excellent team worker with good communication skills and able to answer enquiries in a polite and professional way. You must have 3 GCSE’s or equivalent including English and Mathematics grade A-C.
The post is offered on a full time basis of 37 hours per week, however part time/job share would be considered for the right candidate.
The ability to converse at ease with customers and provide information, advice and instruction in accurate spoken English is an essential requirement.
The successful candidate will be automatically enrolled in the Local Government Pension Scheme and will be required to obtain a Basic Disclosure.
