REVENUE OFFICER (BUSINESS RATES) PART TIME
Scale 4-5 (from £18,870 per annum, pro rata to hours worked)

The Council is looking to recruit an experienced and highly motivated Revenues professional to join our Revenues team and help to provide an efficient and effective Revenues service for our customers.
It would be an advantage if the successful candidate has previous experience of administering Business Rates in accordance with the Regulations and the Council’s procedures and policies; candidates with a sound understanding of the principles of the Business Rate scheme, including reliefs and exemptions would be considered. You should be an excellent team worker with good communication skills and able to answer enquiries in a polite and professional way.
The post is offered on a part time basis of 22 hours per week (Wednesday, Thursday and Friday).
The ability to converse at ease with customers and provide information, advice and instruction in accurate spoken English is an essential requirement.
The successful candidate will be automatically enrolled in the Local Government Pension Scheme and will be required to obtain a Basic Disclosure.
