As one of our CCTV operators, youwill be responsible for the effective and efficient operation of the Council’s CCTV monitoring system, with proactive and reactive monitoring of Town Centre and Housing Estates CCTV cameras, within a built CCTV control room. You will be working with key partners including the police to improve the local environment and safety of those who live, work and visit Southwark.
You will maintain detailed reports and tasking logs to be shared with relevant partners which will require computer literacy.
You should be familiar with and adhere to the principles of the GDPR, Human Rights Act, RIPA, Freedom of Information Act and Knowledge of Common Lawsthat governsthe use of public sector CCTV.
You will have excellent communication skills and be comfortable using radio communications equipment.
