The Governors wish to appoint an enthusiastic and suitably qualified and experienced person to work in our Key Stage 2 department. The post holder will work primarily with an individual child with specific SEND needs, but also with small groups, in partnership with the class teacher, and will be responsible for assisting with the recording and monitoring progress of individual children.
Candidates are required to support the Catholic ethos of the school.
In addition, applicants should have:
- The ability to work as part of a team;
- Knowledge and understanding of child development;
- Knowledge and understand of SEND, in particular children on the Autistic Spectrum and with ADHD
- A willingness to work with parents;
- Good ICT skills
- A good working knowledge of KS 2 curriculum

Candidates should have good numeracy and literacy skills, and should have a qualification relevant to the post.
