Income Management Officer
Grade F £22,401 - £25,463 per annum

Cannock Chase Council is looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our Income Management Team.
The Income Management Team is a compact, highly motivated team and you must be able to demonstrate a commitment to delivering high quality services, and the motivation to actively contribute to new initiatives and policy improvements.
You will be responsible for the effective management of income collection and arrears recovery, including debt, money management and basic welfare advice. The post holder will be responsible for serving of relevant Notices as well as preparing for and presenting cases for legal action and attending Court.
You must have significant experience of working in Social Housing or a related field with the knowledge of Money Management, Income Collection and Tenancy Management, with the knowledge of current and pending universal Credit as well as experience of arrears prevention and recovery management.
In addition you will have experience of working in a front line customer service environment with the ability to deal confidently and professionally with difficult situations, such as enforcing court orders and attending evictions, recognising the importance of confidentiality at all times.
You should hold English and Math’s GCSE grade A-C or equivalent vocational experience and you will also be able to produce reports, statistics and letters using Microsoft Office Packages, such as Word and Excel.
