The Council is looking to recruit three experienced and highly motivated Benefit professionals to join our Benefit team and help to provide an efficient and effective Benefit service for our customers.

 

The successful candidates should have previous experience of administering Housing Benefit and Council Tax Reduction in accordance with the Regulations and the Council’s procedures and policies. You should be an excellent team worker with good communication skills and be able to answer enquiries in a polite, professional and sensitive way.

 

All 3 positions are offered on a full time basis of 37 hours per week, however part time/job share would be considered for the right candidate.

 

The ability to converse at ease with customers and provide information, advice and instruction in accurate spoken English is an essential requirement.

 

The successful candidate will be automatically enrolled in the Local Government Pension Scheme and will be required to obtain a Basic Disclosure.
