We are looking to strengthen our residential engineering teams to improve the services our residents receive from us. Our teams ensure prompt, safe and efficient electrical and heating services are provided to our community.
Reporting to the Senior Heating Engineer for the management and supervision of the borough wide mechanical domestic and communal services contracts for domestic and communal heating, hot water services, cold water booster plant and communal ventilation systems. Responsible for day to-day maintenance and repairs of the gas five Star contract, cold water booster plant, Communal ventilation maintenance and repair contracts. Works on capital schemes / projects, covering major works contracts. Carries out inspections as required on all heating installations. Ensures that the contractor provides certification for each heating installations when required.
Must have one of the following City & Guilds / NVQ in Gas, Plumbing, or Heating or relevant experience gained within the industry. Along with Formal Training in either Gas / Heating or Plumbing. Must have Current ACS Qualification’s CCN1, CPA1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1. Unvented Certification G3 Unvented DHWS & Water bye-laws would be an advantage.
