We are now looking for two experienced publichealth intelligence and performance team managers to join our newly createdcorporate service and implement our emerging business intelligence strategy.You will drive forward a significant organisational and partnershipchange programme, enabling us to deliver our vision, continue our improvementjourney, and maintain constant focus on what matters to our residents. You willbe providing services with detailed health analytics and insight, conductingresearch, and working to embed our new outcome-based performance managementframework. You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team of researchers,performance specialists, and public health analysts.
Roles are aligned to specific clientDirectorates but we expect our teams to work flexibly in a matrix managementenvironment.

1 x Intelligence & Performance Manager – Public Health (Children’s)

To ensure that intelligence and performance for the client directorate is coordinated and comprehensive so that recommendations and decisions are based on the best possible evidence.
To develop proactive products for the client directorate which lead to solutions that improve outcomes for residents and communities.
To ensure there is appropriate accountability and transparency of the council’s performance to residents and customers, partners and regulators.
Anexpert understanding of the national and local context for and operations of theclient directorate related to the role
Experienceof epidemiology approaches to support the planning and development of publichealth priorities including accounting for the public health competencyframework
Experienceof managing performance management, intelligence and data quality arrangementsand operations in a local government setting
Advancedanalytical and numerical skills and a demonstrable ability to work with complexdatasets
Experienceof managing intelligence and performance programmes in a high performing team
Effectivecommunication skills to a range of stakeholders
