Job Title: Supply Chain & Procurement Manager

Salary Range: £26,470-£29,055 pa (pro rata for part-time)
Hours: 37 per week
Hertfordshire Equipment Service (HES) provides a wide range of health and social care equipment to disabled and vulnerable service users/patients across Hertfordshire. The range of equipment includes, bath boards, perching stools, grab rails, electric profiling beds, hoists, pressure care mattresses and much more. The provision of this equipment assists individuals to remain living independently in their own home or supports them and their carers by providing equipment which prevents admission to hospital and supports discharge from hospital.
HES are looking for an experienced Supply Chain & Procurement Manager to join the Management Team and lead and further develop an efficient supply chain process. The successful applicant will also advise and lead on all procurement related issues in addition to managing stock and working with equipment suppliers and members of the Central Buying Consortium (CBC) to ensure best value is secured for our circa £2m budget.
Reporting to the Business Analyst, the post holder will manage a team of 9, which includes Goods-In, Warehouse Operatives and Purchasing staff. The post holder will lead on managing stock levels to ensure there is always sufficient stock to meet demand whilst developing ‘real time’ stock control through the HES IT System (ELMS2). The post holder should therefore have a sound knowledge of Information Technology including Microsoft Excel.
