ATTENDANCE & WELFARE OFFICER
37 hours per week, term time only. Salary £24,783-£29,307 pro rata (actual salary £20,780 - £24,573 per annum)
Permanent post, required for September 2022.
Warden Park Secondary Academy is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and confident Attendance and Welfare Officer to join our Pastoral Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting academy attendance and providing absence, family liaison/support and leading co-ordinated support.
Working closely with parents and academy staff, this role involves supporting the academy in fulfilling its statutory duties in relation to attendance, and monitoring whole academy attendance data. We are keen to hear from candidates who have a passion for supporting students' welfare and are able to work calmly and often under pressure. Experience of working in an environment with young people would be an advantage and your own transport is essential.
