After School Playworker (Primary) - Hailsham Community College Academy Trust

Our two-form entry primary phase opened in September 2019 and opening in September 2022 our brand new state-of-the-art development on the secondary site. New facilities include a three-storey teaching block containing 22 classrooms and SEND hub, a fully refurbished Post 16 Learning Centre and a floodlit all-weather sports pitch to complement our already extensive sporting facilities.
Hours: 12.5 hours per week – Term Time – Monday to Friday 15.30pm-18.00pm
Salary: Single Status Grade 2 point 4 - £18,516 per annum (Actual pro-rated salary - £5,371 per annum)
Contract: Fixed term for 1 year
We require a playworker to run the day-to-day organisation of the extended school club and assist in the provision of quality play opportunities. We are looking for confident and enthusiastic individuals who are passionate about working with young people.
Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous.
