Your role in our journey
As an advanced Early Help Support Worker you provide targeted early help support to children, young people and families with specific responsibilities for dealing with more complex cases, including assessment and appropriate management of risks. A key part of the role is developing and sharing specialist knowledge with others in a particular area of practice, and for contributing to practice development.
Providing one to one and group work support to families through our network of family centres you will facilitate tailored, evidence based interventions. to meet the diverse of needs of individuals; ensuring that families are supported in improving their life chances. Accurate and comprehensive recording skills are essential to this role.
You will work collaboratively within a multi-agency team championing Early Help and integrated services at all times.
What you’ll need
A level 4 qualification in a relevant field along with experience of working in an early help service with vulnerable children, young people demonstrating extensive post qualification experience within a relevant field.
You will be able to demonstrate a flexible, innovative approach to work, as well as willingness to develop specialist areas of work and critically analyse own personal development.
