Kensington and Chelsea is a vibrant place to live and work with a diverse community and rich cultural heritage. As a small inner-London borough situated to the west of the capital, we have excellent transport links and a vast array of businesses and services for visitors and residents to enjoy. In order to meet all of the challenges that this presents we need to recruit an outstanding officer who will help us look after over 1000 licensed premises.
We are looking for someone who has the ability to carry out a wide range of administrative and financial tasks, give advice to residents and businesses and participate in other licensing work. We need a person who is keen to get involved in all aspects of our work and who will be able to make a valuable contribution to the team. Previous licensing experience and possession of the Licensing/Gambling Practitioners qualification or other relevant qualification would be advantageous for this post.
We have a high commitment to Customer Care so it is important that you have excellent communication skills and the ability to organise and manage your own workload. You should also be able to work as part of a team, and possess good IT skills.
