About the role
Site Manager 37 hours per week, full time:
7.30am to 12 noon and 1pm to 4pm daily (3.30pm on Fridays)
Single Status Pay Scale, Grade 5 (£20,043 to £20,443)
We are an Ofsted ‘Outstanding’ school looking for a dedicated new Site Manager to manage our fabulous school and grounds. We need someone who enjoys practical and manual work, who can manage a varied workload in a busy environment and who can work independently as well as part of a well-established school team. The duties include security and maintenance of the school site and buildings, responsibility for the day to day health and safety checks and update of associated records, and organisation of the site team to ensure high standards of cleaning in the buildings and grounds.
The post holder will require practical experience and preferably will have worked in the building trade or in another similar environment. They will be conscientious, efficient, flexible, and reliable and be able to work both on their own initiative and under the guidance of others.
We are looking for:
- Experience of working in a similar role.
- A highly motivated person who can work alone or as part of a team.
- Someone who is efficient, clear thinking and has high standards.
- Experience of COSHH, Health and Safety, legionella testing, asbestos management and managing contractors.
