We are seeking a professional, enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to assist Chelmsford City Council’s Building Services section, in maintaining its diverse and interesting range of buildings; coordinating cyclical and reactive works as well a variety of construction related projects.
This role will provide effective and efficient management of the work involved in maintaining the many assets and buildings that the Council own. These include, amongst others: Hylands House, the Civic Centre, Riverside Ice and Leisure Centre, High Chelmer Multi Story Car Park and Chancellor Park Pavilion. You will coordinate the day to day reactive jobs, cyclical maintenance and improvement works as well as stock condition surveys.
The role will be based at the Civic Centre Offices in Chelmsford, but will also be required to travel to sites within the district.
