This is an incredible opportunity to join Chelmsford City Council as a Website and Content Analyst.
A full time role (37 Hours per week) and reporting to the Digital Product and Programme Delivery Manager, as part of the Website and Content Team you will support in the strategic development and operation of the Council’s website including all microsites and the intranet. The successful applicant will lead and be responsible for appropriate editing and publishing of content in line with the Councils strategy on tone of voice and style guidelines across all the Council’s digital channels including the website, all microsites, and the intranet. The post holder will also participate in projects to improve the Council’s digital presence and where appropriate lead on certain key aspects such as accessibility and the regulatory framework.
Primarily we are looking for applicants that have the following;
• Knowledge of local government services and offerings from partner organisations.
• Ability to identify and communicate business requirements to technical suppliers and staff.
• Strong understanding and experience with CMS platforms such as Umbraco
• Experience of writing content for a diverse range of business processes and services.
• Experience of channel migration and/or designing web-based processes.
• High level of personal organisation, time management and ability to work without supervision.
The role has a flexible work location, with attendance at the Council’s head office in Chelmsford as well as the ability to work from home.
