This is an incredible opportunity to join Chelmsford City Council as our Principal Business Analyst, delivering new and innovative products and services to residents and visitors of the borough. This role is crucial in helping our business teams to deliver excellent services that provide real value to our organisation and to our customers.

The successful applicant will be an integral part of our software development team and will champion our Lean and Agile processes. The post holder will be proactive in approach and have a focused attitude in solving business and user needs.

As an outstanding communicator, the Principal Business Analyst will have the ability to build relationships and gain support from our business customer and development team. The successful applicant will be responsible for all business analysis processes relating to the analysis, creation and implementation of the project backlog within the software development lifecycle and for the mentoring and training of all business analysts within Digital Services.

Offering a competitive salary of £40,269 - £44,373 per annum, the post holder will be expected to work Full Time, at 37 hours per week.

Interviews are scheduled to take place on 29th September.
