Location: Farnham House at Stevenage (Hybrid working between Office and Home)
Starting Salary: £19,264 with the opportunity to progress to a maximum of £20,444

We are looking for an adaptable and flexible Support Officer to work in our newly created Central SASH team which is set to further expand in October 2022.
Central SASH is an intensive team providing support to the highest risk cases countywide within the Specialist Adolescent Service (SASH). We support families experiencing complex family dysfunction, high risk behaviour, homelessness, child sexual exploitation, child criminal exploitation and support young people to return home from care or Tier 4 hospital admissions. Our existing area teams case hold, with the Central SASH delivering a wraparound response to young people and their families at the time that it is needed.
The support officer role would be varied and include assisting with the set up and expansion of the team (developing systems, policies, processes, resources and finances) and co-ordinating, organising and minuting case supervisions and review meetings for all central SASH cases. The support officer plays a key role in contributing to the functioning and efficiency of the team. The team is made up of 12 adolescent practitioners, a therapist, two practice managers, a team manager and a support officer. Any candidate suitable for this role would have opportunities to gain a wealth of knowledge from the practitioners they are surrounded by and we support career progression. Being able to maintain confidentiality and integrity at all times is a must.
