The Senior Intelligence & Performance Manager (Health, Adults & Communities) is part of the management team of the service and will be leading a team of ten intelligence, performance, public health analysis, and research professionals. The team will play a leading role in implementing our emerging Business Intelligence Strategy and transforming our organisational analytics capability. To be responsible for ensuring the intelligence and performance function is high performing and at the centre of driving change, innovation and transformation providing an excellent service to internal and external customers.
To provide strategic leadership and operational management to the assigned part of the Intelligence & Performance function, working collaboratively as a key part of the wider divisional and client directorate management teams.To be responsible for ensuring that services plan, commission services and take decisions based on the best possible qualitative and quantitative intelligence and evidence. To be responsible for ensuring internal and external stakeholders, including partners, regulators and the public, are provided with accurate and timely information about the quality of outcomes and services delivered by the council, enabling appropriate scrutiny and accountability.
A demonstrable expert understanding and knowledge of thenational and local context for and operations of adults’ services, includingsocial care and safeguarding, statutory, policy and regulatory frameworks.Relevant professional qualification or equivalent experienceof delivering a high quality performance and intelligence function in adults’services, including social care and safeguarding.
Demonstrable evidence of using a range of public and specialistsoftware, systems and data bases related to adults’ services, including socialcare and safeguarding, and wider social policy areas.
Demonstrable experience of managing high performingintelligence and performance teams.
Demonstrable ability to analyse statistical and performancedata and use it to support evidence based decision making in adults’ services,including social care and safeguarding.
