Working pattern: Part-time, Term-time only (working for 5.85 weeks per year plus 39 weeks annual leave, which will increase after 5 years' continuous service)

About the role
Cross in Hand is a happy and successful C of E Primary School in Heathfield, East Sussex. We have genuinely lovely children, supportive parents and a great team of staff.
We are looking for an Individual Needs Assistant to support a Year 6 child during lessons and at playtimes until July 2023. The successful candidate would need to remain calm under pressure and have a firm, consistent yet nurturing approach to supporting children to regulate their behaviour. Awareness of Emotional Regulation would be useful but not essential as training can be provided.
Experience of supporting children with Autism is essential.
The position is being advertised as part time with a view to increase hours to match the needs of the child.
This is a temporary position until the end of the current academic year.
