North Somerset Adult Social Services has an exciting opportunity for a Support Co-ordinator role. This is a new position, which will give practical support and information to both external Providers and colleagues within the Contracts & Commissioning Team. The postholder will support with analysing and interpreting data / information, and make recommendations to support decision making by others for particular activities or services. Preparation of reports / written findings for further action by other team members will also be a part of this role.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, well organised person with practical work experience to give thorough understanding of the processes and practices required to deliver the service. You will have an awareness and general understanding of the service area technical protocols, regulations and relevant legislation to adult social care.
Although there will be regular support from the team, you will also need to have an ability to work without close supervision, presenting evidence clearly and confidently.
You will be confident with communicating with colleagues, contractors and other partner agencies through verbal reports, and keeping records of site visits and technical activities completed in accordance with procedures and guidelines.
You will be home, and office based as needed, including site visits to provider service locations from time to time.
