Wokingham Borough Council are looking to recruit Supervised Contact Workers to supervise contact sessions for children and families across the borough. The role entails observing, monitoring and completing a record of sessions. We work in partnership with the Social Work teams from which we receive all referrals. We promote and support positive contact between children and their families, whilst they are going through the court process. We offer a high level of support and training to all Contact Workers.
The main office base is at the The Palm Centre, however staff will work across the borough adopting a flexible working style.
We are recruiting contact workers on a casual contract to work in the afternoon and early evenings—typically 3—6 p.m.
We are looking for people who may have previous experience of working with children, young people and families. As well as people who would like to make a difference to families and receive full training
The above posts are subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, references and health clearances. Full training, support and supervision will be given as well as generous benefits and salary.
