This role is eligible for the ESCC Refer a Friend scheme. We are recruiting support workers who can encourage and enable adults with a learning disability and provide practical and compassionate support in all areas of daily living. Experience in care is not necessary- you just need to have the right values and a passion for supporting people to achieve greater independence.
Our Supported Living service in Hailsham provides supports to 4 adults and is focused on achieving and maintaining independence.
Your role may include; supporting people out in the community, working alongside people to maintain and learn new skills, supporting with activities and providing personal care. A full training program is available to support you in your role - including medication, health and safety, Safeguarding and manual handling training. The opportunity to undertake the Care Certificate is also available.
