Starting salary £24,593pa with potential progression to £27,747pa on achieving designated skills and experience

We are looking for an enthusiastic, dedicated and customer focussed team player to join our Income Team.
Our aim is to make it easy for residents to access our services and we want to provide assistance and support to tenants in the right place, at the right time. We know that this is a challenging time for many households and our new approach to service delivery reflects this.
This is a key role and it will be up to you to provide a customer focussed, proactive and high quality sundry debt and post tenancy arrears recovery service to residents in Welwyn Hatfield.
You’ll deliver our promise of being a high quality landlord, maximising our income by ensuring our sundry debt and former tenant arrears accounts are administered and managed effectively. You’ll need to work collaborative with other council departments as well as using initiative to make decisions on appropriate recovery actions and being empowered develop and shape this new role to deliver excellence.
The ability to converse at ease with members of the public and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential in this post.
