The Council has a 2022 blueprint for success and a programme of transformation activities to get us there; including a new civic centre, digital by default, service redesign and the development of our organisational culture. The structure and delivery of the Human Resources service has been reviewed to ensure that the organisation and our people are supported, developed and engaged throughout this change. A number of new roles have been created to lead these developments and support new ways of working across the council.We are looking to recruit a Learning, Organisational and Cultural Development Practitioner who will work with Service Managers and HR Business Partner Practitioners to understand the root cause of underperformance within services, identifying, delivering and monitoring holistic interventions to address these concerns.
You will be responsible for procuring and evaluating learning and development packages, staff surveys and leadership activities. You will work across all three disciplines in the Learning, Organisational and Cultural Development Team, supporting the Senior Practitioners with responsibility for the following areas:- Learning and Development - Engagement and Equalities - Organisational Development and Change
To be successful in this role you will need experience in one or more of the identified disciplines. You will be able to influence and challenge at a senior level and will have excellent presentation and report writing skills.
