An opportunity has arisen in the Housing Maintenance Section for a Supervisor based at the Hawks Green Depot. As part of a team of three supervisors the successful applicant will play a critical role in ensuring sufficient resources are allocated across the service to meet delivery targets.

 

The successful applicant will have experience of managing a small electrical team and have experience of using computerised management systems including mobile working.

 

In addition you will  have communication skills sufficient to effectively deal with colleagues and customers both internally and externally and have the ability to make robust decisions in demanding situations.

 

You should hold relevant technical qualifications, particularly the 18th Edition, Testing and Inspecting 2391, NVQ 3 in electrics and the AM2 qualification to demonstrate a professional knowledge of electrics in Property Repair and Maintenance as well as knowledge of Health and Safety Regulations and ideally have experience of managing disrepair claims and insurance claims and any resulting works through to completion.

 

The applicant will also supervise the electrical element of the call out rota and may occasionally be required to provide support on a casual basis.
