Do you have proven experience of working with senior managers as a trusted partner supporting the performance of services through robust and consistent application of financial regulations and practices to deliver good financial control and management? If so, this could be the job for you.
You will be CIPFA (or equivalent) qualified with experience of delivering core aspects of the Finance function including closure of accounts, budget setting and review, completion of financial returns and finance project work across a range of services. We are looking for someone who can make a difference, with a "can-do" approach, ability to challenge thinking and offer sound financial advice to key stakeholders will be key to your success.
You will be proactive, familiar with financial systems, be able to work well under pressure, work well independently and with the team. Good communication skills, resilience and adaptability are essential skills.
