Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council are looking to appoint a new Administrator working as part of a busy housing needs team providing customer assistance and administrative and technical support to colleagues. You will assist customers with enquiries made over the telephone, email and in person. You will be responsible for handling sensitive customer information, and demonstrate an understanding of data protection regulations and principles. You will ensure support is provided to the Housing Options team, helping provide a high quality, efficient and compliant housing options service.

You will have the knowledge, flexibility and skills to deal with customer enquiries from those who require assistance with their housing situation, from different backgrounds and situations.  You will have the ability to deal with several aspects of office administration, including filing, photocopying, distributing and recording post, data entry onto IT systems and raising of purchase orders.

Being someone who has administrative experience, you will be helpful, organised and calm under pressure; you will be a strong team player who works well with colleagues and customers, having excellent communication, customer service and interpersonal skills.
