An exciting opportunities have arisen at Collins House Residential Home for Adults.
The role will be working as part of a team to promote personalisation and re-ablement while assisting in achieving the delivery of outcomes for residents within the home.
The role will be responsible to support and assist residents with with all aspects of their daily living needs including moving and handling whilst promoting social stimulation and motivation. The role will be responsible to build appropriate relationships within a key worker role to ensure Collins House core values are met. Core values include individuality, independence, choice, dignity, respect, rights, confidentiality and fulfilment, which guarantees residents, receives a high standard, quality service.
The successful candidate will need to have good values and continually promote, service user choice and control, fulfilment, respect, privacy, dignity, rights and independence.
The post holder will need to be kind, compassionate, caring, flexible and committed.
The successful candidate will need to have a professional attitude at all times and have knowledge around the understanding of Dementia and Challenging behaviours.
The post holder will need to have completed or be committed to work towards completion of the Care Certificate within 12 months of start date.
A Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check for Adults is required at enhanced plus barred list level
