We are looking to recruit a Business Administrator responsible for supporting a team of auditors in the Beyond Auditing Quality Assurance team which is responsible for auditing and quality assuring children's case records. The purpose of the Business support role is to help the team to deliver a robust and effective rolling audit programme across Children’s Social Care.
The role is key to supporting and implementing the Quality Assessment framework and co-ordinating extended audit programme, including arranging practice days and workshops for staff within Children’s Social Care. Systematic case auditing is a powerful driver in improving the quality of front line practice and the management of services for children and families. This role is responsible for coordinating audit processes, assisting with scheduling meetings with Children’s Social Workers to conduct audit interviews in relation to children’s cases and tracking the audit data for the team.
The role will be directly responsible for inputting and tracking data in excel and using formulas and functions or charts to help display and analyse the audit data for performance tracking across teams to show improvement across Children’s Social Care. The analyse will assist the Quality Assurance Service Manager for measuring the success of the auditing programme and will be used for feeding back on the Children’s Services Improvement Journey and inform learning and change across Children’s Services.
This role sits within the Operations and Support Service and requires someone with excellent Excel skills, who is proactive, organised and efficient within an active and busy environment. This role requires someone that can demonstrate they have past experience of providing administrative support in a fast paced environment and has the ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines.
Key tasks and skills required for this role are:
- Excellent, advanced Excel knowledge and experience
- Ability to analyse and interpret data
- Excellent customer service/interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritise and work to tight deadlines within a busy team environment
- Prompt, accurate data entry and problem resolution in a timely manner
- Good, general IT skills (Word/Outlook) and be a competent typist
- Retrieving and investigating information as requested and liaising with internal and external sources/agencies/partners
- Experience of workload management and decision-making on own behalf within a team context
- High standard of organisational skills
- Good knowledge and understanding of Children’s Social Care
