Birmingham Children’s Trust is going from strength to strength. We are the largest provider of family support and social care services for children, young people and families in the country. Our goal is to become a center of excellence in both social care and family support.
We have an excellent residential provision that offers long term and short breaks to disabled children and their families. As part of Birmingham Childrens Trust the residential service benefit from then partnerships across the trust and work with Social Care Services Education and Health to provide wholistic services and the best package of care to children.
All the residential provisions are Ofsted registered and operate within the legal framework of The Childrens Homes Regulations 2015 and The Quality Standards. The roles are subject to satisfactory DBS check, references and a 6 month probationary period. The homes are managed by a Home Manager who is registered with Ofsted and are overseen by the Responsible Individual.
We are looking for dynamic enthusiastic people who can engage with disabled children and are passionate about getting the best outcomes for children and their families. The Residential provision is a 24hr service, applicants for these roles will be expected to work shifts, weekends and bank holidays.
We are looking for someone who has a passion for working with children and can engage with children whilst they ensure the building is kept clean and tidy, and that areas requiring special attention, kitchen and toilets. To ensure the building meets the necessary hygiene standards.
You will ensure cleaning products are ordered and the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health standards are always maintained. You will monitor the cleanliness of the building and underatke cleaning where agreed and when necessary; to include laundry duties as and when required.
