We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated, flexible individual to join a small team of Mobile Neighbourhood Operatives working within the Safe & Strong Communities Team.
The post is offered on a full-time basis of 37 hours per week worked Monday to Friday.
The postholder will provide a caretaking/cleaning service on all Council Housing estates and as required, across the borough.
Applicants must have effective organisational skills. As a front facing role, the successful applicant will have excellent communication skills with awareness of the importance of good customer care.
You must be able to work on your own initiative, independently and work effectively as part of a small team.
The role involves manual work and will include some heavy lifting.
A full and valid UK driving licence is essential.
The ability to converse at ease with customers and provide information in accurate spoken English is an essential requirement.
The successful candidate will be automatically enrolled in the Local Government Pension Scheme and will be required to obtain a Basic Disclosure.
