Principal Planning Officer - Salary: £44,845- £50,305 (Grade H) plus £3900 per annum car allowance
Senior Planning Officer - Salary: £32,405 – £43,753 (Grade F-G. Dependent on qualifications and experience)

We are looking for an energetic, skilled and creative planner, graduate and planning enforcement officer with drive to improve and help to shape the area.
Our Principal roles will suit experienced planners who are commercially minded and are place-making focussed. You will have a track record of successfully leading major development projects through the planning system and of delivering high quality, sustainable development. You will also possess outstanding technical knowledge, have excellent communication skills. A passion for good urban design will also be important as we continue our drive to secure great design. The Senior roles would suit those looking for the next step on the ladder or those who are looking to widen their knowledge and experience working on strategic projects alongside like-minded planners.
We are looking for talented individuals with public or private sector experience of dealing with a wide range of planning and related applications, including major applications. Principal applicants will ideally have experience of appearing at public inquiries and/or informal hearings.
