The Council has a broad range of asset classes including 350 investment assets and 400 other assets including corporate buildings which include its office headquarters at St Aldates Chambers, the Town Hall, Community and Leisure Centres, moorings and parks. This role will be focused on delivery of the capital programme and the successful candidate will play a key role in dedicated project teams providing professional advice and input on property matters including leasing, development, possession strategy and property management issues.
Demonstrating the ability to work within a multi-disciplined practice, ideally but not essential, with local authority knowledge and experience of capital project delivery along with being well organised is key to the success of this role. Having excellent communication skills, ability to stand-alone and possessing strong negotiation and influencing skills and capable of utilising IT skills in a remote working environment is also essential.
