Starting salary: JG5:- £22,571 per annum
Location: Based in the Town Hall, Weston-super-Mare
Hours: 37 hours per week

An opportunity has arisen in the role of a Support Officer working across both the Safeguarding Adults and the Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards Team, including support to the Safeguarding Adults Board.
Do you have strong organisational and administrative skills? Are you able to work on your own initiative? Are you a proven team player with the ability to communicate with other professionals at all levels? Are you passionate about social care, the protection of adults at risk and their right to liberty? Do you have an eye for detail, and would you like to expand your career developing your office skills in a social care context?
Key knowledge & skills:
An understanding of GDPR legislation and the ability to manage sensitive information , problem solving, the ability to prioritise workloads, flexibility and adaptability , good working knowledge of a range of software tools (word processing / spreadsheets) , an understanding of audit and data, arranging and minuting meetings, reviewing developing office processes, liaising with other professionals and coordinating the administrative elements of the teams.
This post is exempt under the provisions of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions) Order 1975 and is subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check.
