We are looking for someone to join our existing team as a Customer Service Advisor. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for our customers via the telephone, face to face or electronically. You will deal with a variety of enquiries relating to the wide range of services provided by the Council. You should be an effective communicator, a positive and co-operative team player and have the ability to adapt your behaviour to treat customers as individuals.  You will be required to work at either Lancaster Town Hall or Morecambe Town Hall in our telephony and customer service centres. Training will be provided.

This post is for 37 hours per week, working Monday to Friday. A flexible hours working scheme is in operation although the customer service centre is open from 9am to 5pm.

Candidates will be required to demonstrate their skills at the application and interview stages.

The successful applicant will be subject to a Disclosure Scotland check.

Excellent benefits include: A Local Government Pension Scheme (the Council makes a 15.5% contribution). Discounted gym membership and discount on days out, activities and retail.

PLEASE DO NOT SEND A CV AS THIS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.
