Our well-established in-house recruitment team are looking for Assistant HR Officers to join us to support recruitment activity across Hertfordshire County Council.
We are a busy team, recruiting to a range of roles that make a real difference to our county, from Social Workers, Administration to Fire Fighters. This is a fast-paced environment; therefore, we’ll need you to be able to work under pressure and be extremely well organised.
You will assist the HR Officer to deliver an excellent customer service by providing efficient and timely transactional processing support including advertising on job boards and pre-employment checking.
With highly developed interpersonal skills you will be confident in advising hiring managers on policy and best practice. You will also need to have a proven track record of delivering excellent customer service and be able to ensure work is carried out to a high standard within agreed KPIs.
You will need to be confident using Microsoft packages, including Excel, and have the ability to use your own initiative, constantly prioritising your own work and demonstrating a pro-active approach to your workload management.
