The role of Wellbeing and Activities Coordinator has been created to ensure that residents are engaged and stimulated and that their physical, social, mental, spiritual, intellectual and cultural needs are being met. The Coordinator must create, display and coordinate a programme that fulfils these needs and keep a record of all engagement.
The Wellbeing and Activity Coordinator will work as part of a whole home approach to maintain and increase resident’s wellbeing and will work alongside the local community, other internal departments, outside professionals (e.g. GP, physiotherapists and occupational therapists) and volunteers.
This role is extremely rewarding and allows for creative freedom with a varied and exciting work schedule. There are training and qualifications available specific to the role and an opportunity to develop lots of skills.
The person will need to be outgoing, kind, creative and passionate with a high level of communication skills. Preferably the individual will have a background in creative arts or sport.
