Brent 2020 Legacy Manager
Contract: Permanent
Hours of work: 36 hours per week including evenings and weekends on occasion
Location: Civic centre and other locations from time to time
Since Brent was the London Borough of Culture in 2020, the Council and our partners have made great strides in delivering the legacy outcomes: Pride, Infrastructure, Skills, and Movement.
With Brent being a Priority Place for ACE and an Area of Focus for the NHLF, this is an exciting moment to join the Council and take this work to the next level; building the cultural coalition across the council, its partners and the wider community and facilitating, enabling and commissioning cultural projects to achieve the council’s objectives.
You combine an in-depth understanding of UK’s and London’s creative and culture industries across artforms, contexts and scales with a passion for the role of local government in growing and celebrating culture, creativity and creative industries.
With an appreciation of the cultural assets, history and potential of Brent, you'll bring to the borough your exceptional communication, negotiation and partnership skills and experience in fundraising, managing grant programme and developing commercial partnerships. You're committed to, and experienced in, working with diverse communities to co-produce and deliver complex cultural programmes and services.
Closing date: 19 August 2022 (23:00)
