The role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified Transactions Surveyor within the Property and Coporate Asset Management Team at Oxford City Council.

The Council has a broad range of asset classes including 350 investment assets and 400 other assets including corporate buildings which include its office headquarters at St Aldates Chambers, the Town Hall, Community and Leisure Centres, moorings and parks. 

Oxford City Council is looking to recruit an experienced and dynamic commercial leasing surveyor capable of working as part of a team and on individual projects. The role will be focused on leasing across all asset classes. 

The successful candidate will focus mainly on leasing activities including direct negotiations with tenants, drafting and agreeing Heads of Terms. Liaising and dealing with appointed external leasing agents and working collaboratively with a number of internal teams including Property Management, Building Services and Legal also forms an important part of this role. 

Demonstrating the ability to work within a multi-disciplined practice, ideally but not essential, with local authority knowledge and experience along with being well organised is key to the success of this role. Having excellent communication skills being adaptable and flexible in your approach and possessing strong negotiation and influencing skills and capable of utilising IT skills in a remote working environment is also essential.  Sound like you?  Interested to find out more?  If yes then please proceed below and how you can apply.
